Flat packed wooden puzzle that builds into a 3D model of a seaplane. Suitable for beavers to rovers with adaption of the programme idea.
Easy option: Building model with leader assistance.
Medium difficulty: Relay race with instructions at one end of the hall and the model at the other. Racing back / forth allow the scouts to collect one (or more) pieces per relay to build the complete model.
Challenging option: Split the team into two with one half getting the wooden components and the other half getting the instructions. Communicating via mobile phone, walkie talkie or by simply walking out to look at and memorize the next step of the instructions. the team tries to complete the model.
